Cooking

Cooking this year starts on Monday, 8/27, and will be held on Monday nights from 6:15-7:30pm at the Ames Middle School’s FACS Room on the 2nd floor. Each year, Mary Wauson and Janet Mickelson lead our athletes in a 14-week course to teach how to make simple meals while taking home recipes (and sometimes leftovers!) The course lasts from 8/27 – 12/10 with the exception of Labor Day and the week of Thanksgiving. To register for the course, please complete the attached Cooking registration form and bring $75 to the first cooking class! You may also submit cooking registration early by dropping it off at The Arc office or slipping it under the door.
