Advocacy Group
This April we will be working with a group of Occupational Therapy students from Drake University to teach Self-Advocacy skills! We will be meeting from 3:30-5pm on Sunday nights for the following dates: 4/8, 4/15, and 4/22. The class will meet in the multipurpose room, upstairs, of the First United Methodist Church to discuss the following in sessions:
Session 1: Advocacy 101 and Role Playing
Session 2: Community Living and Job Skills
Session 3: Hygiene and Meal Preparation
